Why this exists
More than a coloring book
In times of adversity such as dealing with a cancer diagnosis, it can often feel as though anxiety, treatments, and medication drown out everything else, including your faith. It is crucial to remember, though, that the power of God's Word surpasses all.
Every page here was written to uplift women in cancer treatment — a heartfelt reminder that God is constantly by our side, providing unwavering support, even amidst life's toughest battles.
It transcends the specifics of the diagnosis — whether you or a loved one is battling breast, ovarian, uterine, or any other form of cancer. More than pictures to color, these pages are a companion that provides courage and comfort when you need it most.

Hi, I'm Sonja.
During my first day of chemotherapy, God blessed me with an idea: to write encouraging acrostics for myself and for other women undergoing cancer treatment. An acrostic is a piece of writing where the first letter of each line spells out a word.
Here is an example of one of my acrostics.
Caring for us
And loving us, God
Never intended for us to experience
Cancer.
Even in the face of this diagnosis, Be encouraged and
Rise and declare God's word over your situation!
That's where this began. I created the devotional to remind us of God's goodness, and that He is working within us to fulfill His purpose despite what we may be experiencing. Every page here carries one of those words, with the reading, the Scriptures and the prayer that go with it — plus prayers for the days that are hard in their own particular way: appointments, scans, waiting on results.
Be blessed, be encouraged, and be strong as you go through this journey. God has great plans in store for you.
